    Your videos are very cool. Reminded me of the "Donner Party". Recommend you let your Dad Continue using wood pellets for heat. :-)

    Hahahahah, Neil! My mom used to tell me the story of the Donner Party every time we crossed over that summit. My Grandparents crossed the U.S. in covered wagons. My Grandfather wanted to stay there for the winter, but my grandmother was opposed since she heard what had happened up there. She had him hitch up the horses and wagon and she and the kids went on, while he stayed at the cabin. It wasn't long before he caught up with them. He decided she and the kids had a better plan after all.
