New Iphone App Could Rival Relay Services

Deaftel could quite possibly revolutionize how the deaf, hard of hearing and the speech impaired make telephone calls in the very near future. The two best things about this app: private without a third party relaying what is being said, and no more disconnects. Finally, you can make calls without people and automated answering services hanging up on you!

  2. That's a good question, Anonymous! We'll know when they finish testing this. Actually, all devices should have a 911 app, don't you think? If you find out, be sure to let us know. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. It seems to be an excellent app. It looks good on paper, but in reality, we will have to see how it plays out.

    Apparently, it is not a relay service in comparison with vco, captel or even VRS where it is almost real time. With the new apps, it does provide some positive usage, but not in the same fashion as relay service.
