Raised on the Southern Oregon Coast, now retired on the Southern Oregon Coast. I was a hard of hearing child who grew up to be a deafened adult. "The Universal Language is in Our Minds"
This is a provoking thought by linguistics lecturer Patrick Boudreault. It is captioned and signed.
Interesting idea. At one time I studied Esperanto and was able to use it a little with the few who knew it. But a far as spoken languages, English has become the universal language. However, that may change someday.
