It would save us both a lot of "repeat" points and conversations.Xpressive Handzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16002398180587845394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2199689129452310161.post-37922959930509128952012-01-15T20:53:16.697-05:002012-01-15T20:53:16.697-05:00I didn't see subtitles or captions when I view...I didn't see subtitles or captions when I viewed the series online. This special episode had the words appear at the begining. The signs I learned out west are different from what I am seeing here in the East. Signs are just like accents, vernacular, dialects, they vary from region to region. The signs of some of the people interviewed on some of the episodes of the series are different, as well. Have you watched any of these episodes at all? Many countries have their own Signs, there is Auslan in Australia, for example.

ASL signs are currently being taught all over the world now by teachers in schools that teach English as a second language. There are now also Signing Time instructors in South America, Japan, Africa, and other places. Check out what Signing Time is doing in Ghana:
http://www.signingtimefoundation.org/2012/01/03/rachel-and-leah-why-we-are-going-to-ghana-video/Xpressive Handzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16002398180587845394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2199689129452310161.post-64903285971746733282012-01-15T18:02:34.241-05:002012-01-15T18:02:34.241-05:00Amy Strassner Sargent (Deaf Girl Amy) left this li...Amy Strassner Sargent (Deaf Girl Amy) left this link on my page to share with my readers.
